American Girl Dollhouse

October 13, 2016 By Brandy 13 Comments

I have had requests over this last year to see a compilation of our dollhouse pictures.  I have FINALLY had a chance to put each room into one post!  As a previous team member for Doll Diaries, I did a series on decorating your dollhouse where I broke each room down into an individual post.  I have included links to each of the posts to their coordinating pictures.  Please keep in mind these posts were done a while ago.  The dollhouse rooms are ever changing!

Our dollhouse consists of 10 rooms, a patio, and an entryway. This dollhouse was custom made by Payne Street Doll Boutique.

Please see each link provided for more information.  Please feel free to comment on this post and I will try to answer any questions.

american-girl-dollhouse-door-entrywayWhen I initially approached Payne Street Doll Boutique about the concept of a free standing entryway they jumped on board right away.  They are the original designers of this dollhouse concept.  I added a removable flower box at a later date.

I can’t wait to see pictures of your dollhouses!   Many dollhouse rooms have amazing themes!  I love getting inspiration from other crafters!  One of my favorite dollhouse decorators is Lisa W.

Craft on!

Hi, Brandy! Do you remember where you got the tiny hook to hang your door wreaths? I have a Payne Street Door too!

The hook is a mini Command light/decorative hook.

Thanks for sharing your pictures. What an amazing house. My husband and I have built a 3 story house for our granddaughters and me to play with and will be adding a couple more additions as our collection grows. It is a work in progress, but so much fun

Love, love, love your doll house and featured crafts! Thank you so much for sharing on Instagram, so that AGIGers can share in the joy. I have a wardrobe unit I purchased from IKEA that I am in the process of converting into 3 rooms for my AG dolls. You’ve given me many lovely ideas! It would also be fun to see how you’ve incorporated AG purchases into your dollhouse, and to see how your dolls *live* in their rooms…is the Parisian themed bedroom for Grace, or just because you liked the idea? Thank you again for so much eye candy and inspiration!!!

Hi Vicki, I think the only big AG item in the dollhouse is the bathtub/shower and bath vanity. We have added AGs Juke Box to one of the bedrooms. Yes, the Parisian room was inspired by Grace, but it is not for her. We do not have a specific doll. We have several dolls so whichever is the doll of choice for play that day…that is their bedroom. Stay tuned for more dollhouse photos as Thanksgiving and Christmas nears. I would love to see pictures of your dollhouse! 🙂
