Today I will share with you how to make quick and easy napkin rings for your dolls. Actually, I’ve made these napkin rings in REAL size too. I will also show you how to fold the napkin so it will fit easily inside the napkin ring. A little fancy bling at a table setting…even for dolls…makes any occasion more festive!
These doll sized napkin rings took about 2 min to make each! I love fast and easy crafts! Below is a front and back pic….both look great to me!
You will need a 1/2 inch dowel rod, 12 gauge floral wire, and a pair of wire cutters. (Heavy duty scissors will work as well.) The wire comes in a variety of colors. You could easily add beads to the wire or a small piece of greenery/flower. I liked the “less is more” look of these….I wanted something to coordinate with the galvanized plate chargers.
Simply wrap the wire around the dowel to shape a ring. I wrapped around 3 times. It is somewhere around 6 inches of wire for each ring.
If any part of edge is sticky up after cutting you can take a small hammer and lightly tap the wire flat.
For the doll napkin I cut a paper towel to a 5 inch square. ( I can’t use cloth napkins with these rings…hems would be too think to fold and push through ring….unless you want a really big ring.)
- Cut paper towel to a 5 inch square
- Fold in half.
- Fold in half again.
- Fold at a diagonal. And slide into ring.

Craft on!
where did you get the plate chargers?
Michelle, the plate chargers are coasters I purchased from Amazon. I will be doing a blog post on them next week.
Thank you so much for all of these!
You are so welcome!
