As most of my readers know, I love to decorate my front porch. After all, it is the first thing guests see when they visit, so it has to be inviting. I change up my front porch almost monthly! A beautiful wreath is always an absolute must for my front door. Today, I’m going to fill you in on one of my best kept secrets….where I get my front porch wreaths! Drum roll….. Fleur de Lis Designs! I have purchased from Fleur de Lis Designs for years. Their quality and designs are far above most that I have ever seen. I have tried to make my own wreaths; some turned out okay and others were well…epic fails. Making wreaths is no cheap task. By the time you buy flowers, ribbons, art, and not to mention glue and wire…it was one big heartache when my creations turned out to be a hot mess. I decided to leave my wreaths to the expert. That expert is Tracy of Fleur de Lis Designs. I’m such a fan of her work that I have actually saved several pictures of her wreaths over the years and I want to share a few of those pictures with you. You can find Fleur de Lis Designs on Etsy here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/FleurdeLisDesignsCo?ref=pr_faveshops and on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/Fleur-de-Lis-Designs-320606077971292/ .
I LOVE this ‘Forecast Hot and Sunny’ wreath. All of Tracy’s wreaths are very full. The size is very impressive. Driver’s going by won’t be able to miss the beautiful color displayed at your entrance.
This ‘Wild for Spring’ wreath is just screaming…IT’S TIME FOR WARMER WEATHER!
Tracy is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She gets such joy out of her creations. She wants you to be thrilled with the wreath you have purchased. Here’s a few words from Tracy:
I’ve loved flowers for as long as I can remember. My grandma loved them, my daddy loved them and his sister who lived right across the road from our house loved them. I didn’t start working with them until I took over a small plant leasing and maintenance business in El Paso, TX. One of my clients was the El Paso Country Club. One day the manager asked me if I could make a fresh centerpiece for a dinner they were having. I said “Sure! I can do that!”. I went the next day to a fresh flower wholesaler and proceeded to buy enough flowers to do a small wedding! It was probably the most hideous arrangement ever, but they made the mistake of telling me it was “lovely!” And I never looked back – I was a Florist now! Since then I hope to say that I’ve learned a thing or two. I’ve owned my own flower shop, had a crazy successful eBay business selling wreaths and just can’t seem to stay away from it! I have a “real” job now but floral design is, and always will be what I LOVE to do!
This ‘Christmas Blessings’ wreath is breathtaking. This definitely states welcome to our home – enjoy the holiday with us. Hey Tracy…this is on my wish list!
Hmmm this wreath is on my wish list too…and yes, I have a very long wish list. This wreath is adorable and brings back so many childhood memories making Christmas cookies with my mother and grandmother. I can smell the sugar cookies baking!
This wreath just wants be to have anything and everything pumpkin and apple spice.
Tracy also takes custom requests. I asked Tracy to create me something tropical. I think she hit the nail on the head!
I just want to dance a little Irish jig when I see this!
As I mentioned above, Tracy also does custom requests. Here is a watermelon wreath I had been dreaming of.
I found these cute prim watermelons here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PrimitivetouchBySue. Sue at Primitive Touch By Sue was great to work with. I wanted these little watermelons in a deep red and she whipped up a custom order. I LOVE her Etsy shop. I look forward to purchasing from Sue again! Decorating possibilities are endless with her creations!
I found this adorable watermelon sign here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/snappydesign. This Etsy shop has really cute décor signs that work great added to a wreath or stand alone perfectly. I had the prim watermelons and the watermelon sign sent directly to Tracy of Fleur de Lis Designs and she worked her magic to create this beautiful watermelon wreath.
So if you like changing out your wreaths for the seasons and holidays be sure to check out the awesomeness at Fleur de Lis Designs!
I adore the Christmas cookie wreath! Also your watermelon wreath turned out just perfect! How sweet!
