The Doll Wedding Ceremony

May 31, 2016 By Brandy 22 Comments

Today is the big day for Sara and Dylan!!  The Doll Wedding Ceremony is finally here!

Doll church flowers

The Doll Church is decorated with flowers!

doll wedding groom party

Father Dean, Dylan, and his groomsmen line up.  Dylan is so nervous!

doll wedding flower girl

Canon in D begins to play.  Rachel, the flower girl, begins to timidly drop flower petals down the aisle.

doll wedding ring bearer

Prince, the ring bearer and the couple’s beloved dog, prances down the aisle with the pillow in his mouth.  Thank you so much Kreateness for creating this pillow!

doll wedding bridesmaids

The bridesmaids are next to enter into the church.  They rhythmically walk down the aisle.

doll wedding bride

Now it’s time!!!  The congregation stands and turns to see a beautiful bride at the church’s entrance.  Tissues start to be passed around.  Sara nervously starts to walk into the church and down the aisle.

Dylan immediately smiles when he sees his beautiful bride.

doll wedding ceremony

Sara takes her place across from Dylan at the front of the church.  Father Dean says a sweet opening prayer.

doll wedding readings

The best man and cousin of the groom, Dez, provides a reading.  He reads from Corinthians.

doll wedding communion

Father Dean prepares for communion.

doll wedding exchange of rings

Sara and Dylan exchange vows and rings.

doll wedding kiss

Father Dean announces the couple as “Mr & Mrs” and tells Dylan “You may kiss your bride!”  Music begins and the couple and their wedding party walk happily out of the church.  They are on their way to the church’s flower garden for pictures.

doll wedding flowers

The brides and bridesmaids bouquets were made from petite flowers that were bunched together and held in place with a clear elastic band.  A coordinating colored ribbon was tied to base.

Stay tuned for the wedding party pictures!

Perfection! Beautifully done, Brandy! Loved all the little details – the carefully scattered flowers on the bridal walk, the communion hosts, the groomsmen’s corsages, the color coordinated guests! So pretty and charming. Thank you for a delightful wedding day. My girls are dreamy.
