Well, Sara said yes to her dress, now it’s Dylan’s turn to say yes to his tux! Dylan and his groomsmen are off to The Tuxedo Shoppe to find their attire for The Doll Wedding. The groom is looking very dapper in his tuxedos. I’m hoping the groomsmen will stop goofing off enough to help poor Dylan decide which one to get.
Here is a printable for a Tuxedo Shoppe Sign if you want to make your own shop! Tuxedo Shoppe Sign
First, Dylan tries on this dashing tuxedo. This tuxedo was donated by Neat-N-Cheap Doll Outlet. Neat-N-Cheap Doll Outlet sells a huge variety of doll clothes, shoes, and accessories for 7″, 8″, 11-1/2″, and 18″ dolls at very affordable prices. Neat-N-Cheap Doll Outlet is sponsoring a giveaway of the boy doll tuxedo and shoes that I will be using for The Doll Wedding event! Thank you Neat-N-Cheap Doll Outlet! I think Dylan’s cousin, Dez, REALLY likes this tux! I think Dez wants this for himself…not the groom! Hmm… A huge thank you goes out to Silly Monkey for donating all of the shoes for the groom, groomsmen, and for the ceremony officiant. Their black patent loafers worked perfectly with the outfits. The Silly Monkey shop is awesome! They have super cute clothes, shoes, and accessories for both girl and boy dolls…YES…a line of clothes just for boy dolls! So if you bought a Boy Story Action Doll in their kickstarter campaign, here is a great place to get them unique outfits. I look forward to working with them again. Thank you Silly Monkey! Next, Dylan tries on this handsome custom tux from Grandma A’s Creations. Grandma A is a local seamstress who sews for fun for her grandchildren and neighborhood children. She is known for her up-cycling and repurposing of fabric from thrift store clothing into adorable and beautiful doll clothes. She is also known for her breathtaking quilts. Thank you Grandma A!
I think Dylan has made his choice…good…because his groomsmen are getting antsy!
The groomsmen’s white shirts were donated by My Doll’s Life. I have had the honor of working with My Doll’s Life before and know firsthand they offer fashion forward, high quality merchandise Sophia’s for 18 inch dolls. In addition, they feature a blog, a free accessory with purchases of $30, regular Friends and Family discount coupons, games and an app for mobile devices. Thank you My Doll’s Life! You can find them here: http://www.doll-clothes.com/
The groomsmen’s black pants were a custom request and donation from Camelot’s Treasures. Camelot’s Treasures specializes in custom designed and sewn doll clothes and accessories. Their items are quality tested and unique. I LOVE that they have flat rate shipping. The owner is so much fun to work with and I’m so excited for her blog! Thank you Camelot’s Treasures! You can find them here: http://www.camelotstreasures.com/
Kreatenest donated the groomsmen ties and vests. She also went above and beyond and created the ring bearer pillow too! Kreatenest is a local seamstress who has sewn professionally for years. Her tailoring skills are phenomenal. She is also known for her fantastic doll uniforms that are replicas of girl cheer uniforms. She also creates matching girl and doll dresses. I am looking forward to working with Kreatenest in the future; I think she can create anything! The details on the ties and vests are perfect. They are replicas of the real things! I love that the vest had a synched back. Thank you Kreatenest! You can find her facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/KreateNest/. Message her via her facebook page for inquires for custom orders.
The guys are making the last of their purchases! I think they are set. One more week until the bid day!

Love the tuxedo!
I am loving this! So cute.
just a week a way …I can’t wait…I’m in the process of making my Penny’s dress, but there is a bit of a conflict …I want long and she wants short.
I can’t wait to see what Penny decides!
is it a day or evening wedding…evenings tend to be more formal…Penny wants a summer sundress with bolero jacket in a cotton print. I on the other hand have found two different shades of purple satin and want to go more formal. She says only if it is an evening wedding and she won’t wear pink or purple in any shade.
It will be a late afternoon wedding. Lots of pictures will be taken outside to take advantage of natural lighting. Reception pictures will be taken in the evening and at night!
Looks like its a summer sundress because she wants to be able to dance the night away.
