Join me in my kick off of my series of posts, “Around the Kid’s Table!” This is a series for kids of all ages…and dolls as well! One of my absolute favorite memories was spending the holidays with my cousins! I remember us having a blast at the kid’s table. We would be silly, playing games, crafting, and getting stuffed on the pre-meal appetizers. I never wanted to grow up and leave that table! I have now happily passed these traditions down to my daughters. Plus, getting a jump just start on activities for the kiddos is a great way to keep them occupied while I cook!
Today I will show you how we created our holiday craft caddy!
Above is a sneak peak of the printables and activities that will be coming in this series! Stay tuned!
Organize your craft supplies in a caddy! Doing this allows easy cleanup when crafts need to be cleared from the table when it is time to eat. Fill the caddy with markers, crayons, scissors, glue, hole punches, tape, pom-poms, buttons, ribbons, and beads.
This scene was also recreated in our doll house! If you need a “kid’s table” for your dolls see here: http://brandyshappyhome.com/doll-tailgate-folding-table-and-food/
And yes…all printables and activities that are in this series will be in doll size too! The craft caddy is actually a doll cleaning caddy by My Life As that can be found at Walmart.
The caddy was filled with doll sized craft supplies from the Our Generation line. The Our Generation line has fantastic school sets that are carried by Target.
Time to get ready for Thanksgiving! Craft on!
*Dolls are wearing dresses from Etsy shop Dresses For Dolls.
Ooo. I have that caddy from my life as. Nice way to repurpose.
Thank you! 🙂
